The Missouri School of Religion is offering the Certificate of Pastoral Ministry program online. This is a three-year program of undergraduate-level classes for licensed ministers and interested laity. The introductory prerequisite course, "Understanding the Bible," will be offered during the four weeks of October and again in the spring.
Fran Schnarre, a minister and director of education ministries at Missouri School of Religion, will teach the class. Program classes to be offered in 2010 are Disciples history and polity, Old Testament, New Testament, personhood of the pastor, stewardship and Christian ethics.
