Congregational leaders and pastors are invited to a "Ministry in Hard Times Workshop" that will take place just before the start of the 2009 General Assembly. The workshop gets underway at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, and lasts until noon on Wednesday, July 29. All sessions will occur at the north campus of Geist Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Indianapolis suburb of Fishers, Ind. The Pre-Assembly Event is sponsored by "Net Results," an evangelism publication and training resource.

The workshops will feature some of the country's most respected leaders, teachers and pastors who speak on evangelism. Among the presenters will be pastor, author and consultant Bill Easum, author Clif Christopher, Mid-America Region Area Minister Kris Tenny-Brittian, pastor, author and consultant Bill Tenny- Brittian, minister, author and coach Gary Straub, minister and church planter Geoff Mitchell, and Randall Updegraff Spleth, pastor of Geist Christian Church.
