Dear God, 

You’re to good to be true.

Whenever, I feel bad I turn to you.

I close my eyes and I say what’s in my heart.

You put things back together once they’d been torn apart.

When I open my eyes I feel good inside.

In me you will always abide.

You make the wind blow you make the flowers bloom.

You put happiness where there once was gloom.

You make the ocean roar you make the forest grow.

You raise up people who were once low.

You make the little birds fly up and down.

Dear God, you make the world go round.

Now about the little children all around the earth,

You give us protection even before birth.

You allow us to play, you allow us to smile.

You even allow us to rest for a while.

When we get upset and act like a clown.

From all the way up there you help us to calm down.
