Place position description in DisciplesWorld, secure names, hold conversations about the selection process with constituency groups.

November, 2004-January, 2005
Conduct interviews, select nominees.

January 23-25, 2005
2-5 names will be presented to the Administrative Committee; the AC selects a candidate for forwarding to the General Board.

January-April, 2005
The candidate will be introduced to the church.

April 16-19, 2005
General Board votes to forward the name of the candidate to General Assembly.

July 23-27, 2005
The General Assembly elects and calls the candidate to serve as General Minister and President.
