INDIANAPOLIS (DNS) -- The Rev. Gary A Reynolds, Columbia, Mo., has been called as chief development officer in the Office of the President of Homeland Ministries. He began the new assignment July 1.
He has served since 1997 as pastor of First Christian Church, Boonville, Mo., while also holding the post of vice president of The Reynolds Group, a fund-raising consulting and word processing firm serving small businesses and nonprofit organizations in Central Missouri.
Reynolds served for 13 years as director of development for the Lenoir Retirement Community, a service unit of the National Benevolent Association in Columbia. For 10 years during that period he was also regional director of development for NBA, supervising development programs of NBA units in Missouri, Oklahoma and Colorado.
He has also served Disciples congregations in Indiana, Ohio and Texas.
Reynolds is a graduate of Bethany (W. Va.) College and Brite Divinity School, Ft. Worth, Texas.
