Fifteen days remain on Reconciliation Mission’s “30-Day Special Appeal”

“We praise God for the generosity of Disciples!”
Jessica Vazquez, Transitional Minister of Reconciliation Mission, reports that with 15 days remaining, Reconciliation Mission has received $22,275 in pledges and gifts.  Although additional funds totaling $64,725 are needed to close the financial shortfall limiting the ministry, RM staff celebrates the financial support they have received thus far.  This support has come from a variety of sources: the NAPAD Executive Committee pledging $3100 and committing to reach out beyond their circle and individual pledges totaling $19,100.

“Yes, pledges and gifts are still needed to gap our shortfall but God has already surprised us with the generous support demonstrated thus far,” said Vazquez.  Many have contributed to the success of the appeal and offers of support are beginning to emerge.  Like leaders from Central Christian Church in Indianapolis, Ind., deciding to collect a second Reconciliation Mission offering or the Northwest Region Anti-Racism Team making the decision to gift a portion of their Reconciliation funds.

The Executive Committee will gather the last week of March to make decisions regarding Reconciliation Mission’s immediate future.  Your support is still needed.  To find out more about the appeal, pledge or give on-line visit: www.reconciliationmission.org/intheknow/06SpecialAppeal.htm
