Reconciliation Mission Offering to be received this weekend
Disciples have made a commitment to nurture reconciliation by weeding out racism within our church and our society. General Assembly housing deadline extended to Sept. 25
If you have yet to register for housing, you have until TODAY (Thursday, Sept. 25) to receive the reduced rates negotiated for General Assembly with the Charlotte Convention Housing Bureau. Reservations must be made in writing or made via the Internet. View the Official Housing Request Form at: http://www.disciples.org/ga03/housing.htm

Week of Compassion Update
In the aftermath of Hurricane Isabel, Virginia, North Carolina, Delaware and Washington, D.C. have been declared federal disaster areas. At least 35 deaths have been blamed on the powerful storm that struck the Mid-Atlantic last Thursday. Assessments remain incomplete, but the damage to homes and businesses is extensive.
