MEET NEW CHURCH LEADERS
Disciples welcomed the Rev. W. Chris Hobgood as their sixth general minister and president at General Assembly. Three new Disciples were also installed in the moderator position: Charisse Gillett (Moderator), Manuel Collazo (First Vice Moderator), and Douglas B. Skinner (Second Vice Moderator). CBP NAMES JANE E. MCAVOY EDITORIAL DIRECTOR
ST. LOUIS - Christian Board of Publication president and publisher, Cyrus N. White, named Jane E. McAvoy as vice-president and editorial director for this growing Christian publishing ministry. Dr. McAvoy will direct the development of books and resources published under the Chalice Press and Living Bread Press imprints for people in congregational and academic communities within and beyond the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
