The National Workshop on Christian Unity takes place each spring. For those new to the ecumenical movement, it is a good place to familiarize oneself with North American ecumenism. For the seasoned ecumenist, it is a good place to catch up with current events, trends and old friends.
Each year the Council provides a scholarship for one Disciple student to pursue studies at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey in Geneva, Switzerland. To apply for the scholarship, download the student application form (in PDF) from the Bossey Web site. Complete the form and send it to the Council on Christian Unity; P.O. Box 1986; Indianapolis, IN 46206-1986. The Council will review your application and choose one from all applicants. We will then send all applications to Bossey for consideration to be accepted into the program. The scholarship recipient is automatically accepted. The applicants who do not receive the scholarship will be responsible for their own expenses. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board for the two terms of the program.
