New CCU Website Offers Easier Access to Ecumenical News and Resources

The Council on Christian Unity launched a “new and revised website” this past week that is intended to be much easier to use as a place to keep up-to-date on major events and happenings in the ecumenical life and witness of the Disciples of Christ, as well as to provide hands-on resources for congregational use.

When former General Minister and President, Richard Hamm, discovered the new website, he wrote, “The website is great…very intuitive and packed with resources and information that is very easy to access and well laid out.  Good job!”

Robert Welsh, president of the CCU, is hoping that this new format is not only attractive, but will prove to be a more “user-friendly resource” for all persons who want to stay abreast of developments in the ecumenical movement.  In posting the new website, he stated, “I wanted to simplify the site to enable easier access to the work of the CCU and the resources that are available for study in the critical areas of our Disciples involvements in seeking the unity of the church and oneness among all Christians.”
