Michael Livingston, the 23rd president of the National Council of Churches in the U.S. and executive director of the International Council of Community Churches, will present the Ninth Joe A. and Nancy Vaughn Stalcup Lecture on Christian Unity. The lecture brings together representatives from various denominations and ecumenical groups at all levels of the local, regional, national, and international church.
Livingston's lecture is entitled, "Living the Visible Unity of the Church." This ecumenical event is co-sponsored by the Council on Christian Unity of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Stalcup School of Theology for the Laity at Brite Divinity School.
The lecture and brief ecumenical worship service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, at Northway Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dallas, Texas, which is located at 7202 W.
