Communication is prayer for me--teaching, journaling, writing books, articles, newsletters, counseling, or preaching--God called me and gifted me to be a communicator. Of course, I do prayer in traditional and deep listening, lectio divina with music, art, walking, meditation, labyrinth prayer, or breathing Jesus name.

My spiritual practice, in part, is prayer through scripture. I find this an effective form of prayer. I also covet my retreat opportunities with my Bethany group in which we observe 24 hours of silence.
