Holly McKissick

Holly McKissick, started a new Disciples church before new church ministry was “cool” among Disciples. Twenty years later, Saint Andrew Christian Church, Olathe, Kansas, has welcomed 800 members, constructed one of the Disciples first “green” buildings, and taken on issues of justice and mission “from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth.” Honored with the Innovation in Ministry Award from Brite Divinity School, this story-telling preacher translates complex theological ideas into missional action for today’s Christians.
