Assembly Choirs

Greetings Disciples Musicians!

One of the traditions of the Assembly is to invite the Disciples musicians to be part of the music program for General Assembly. In Music City, USA, and the surrounding state, this is an especially happy task! So many gifted performers in one place!

So, first of all, we have invited some of the top Disciples performers/song writers to be in leadership with us. Gabe Dixon, Craig Wiseman, Thom Schuyler, Julia Callaway and Andra Moran to name a few.

We also are convening worship choirs, with which you might like to sing. We welcome your voices for the processional choir (Saturday night), gospel choir (Sunday morning) and women’s chorus and youth choir (both Wednesday night), and your guitars for the guitar ensemble. (Saturday night) Just be sure to let us know you would like to participate so we can make a place for you!

To be part of any of these choirs, please notify Steven McMillan, host-area music chair; email: smcmillan8@gmail.com; phone: 865-719-2749; rehearsal may be required. Read the details under each tab for more information.

Sound checks, staging rehearsal and performances will be in the Nashville Convention Center Plenary Hall. Music rehearsals will be in Room 203 of the Nashville Convention Center.

Bill Thomas

We’ll see YOU in Nashville!

Peace,
Bill Thomas, General Assembly Music Minister
