All "Just Neighbors" conversations will take place in Westin - Capitol II both days.
Dozens of International Church Partners, who share in ministry with Disciples all over the globe, will be in one place at one time for General Assembly. With help from the Division of Overseas Ministries, Children's Ministries of Disciples Home Missions and Week of Compassion, we'll look at how together we can change-and in some ways, already are changing-the world. This track is designed for all ages, complete with youth/young adult component and children's activities.
Using a conversation model of discourse, participants and international Church Partners will identify the wounds that exist in our global village. They will learn some of the root causes and systemic reasons for injustice. Then, they will share possible paths to healing through systemic change. Go home with your customized plan for action.
