General Assembly Music Director Bill Thomas and Nashville musician, Stephen McMillan, who serves as chair of the local arrangements music committee, will coordinate an all-Assembly guitar "ensemble," which will play during the 7 p.m. Sat., July 9, Opening Worship of the Assembly.
Guitar players (other stringed instruments are encouraged, as well) from across the United States and Canada are invited to download simple sheet music, order a t-shirt to wear on stage, and show up for a brief rehearsal on Saturday afternoon.

T-shirt-wearing guitar players will be invited to the stage to send out worshipers on Opening Night with what General Assembly Program Director Patricia Case says may be the "biggest guitar ensemble ever gathered - even in Nashville!"
