The 2011 General Assembly theme-scripture (Deut. 6:1-12) comes from Moses' cautionary sermon to the Hebrew people before they enter the Promised Land. This land flows with milk and honey, yes, but bounty clouds identity. Pay attention!
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD; and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might."
